Success Suits You: Providing the Right Look for Jobseekers
Yesterday in Dunedin, a new initiative called "𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮" was launched to assist job seekers in obtaining the clothes and skills needed for a successful job search.
The group's founders, Deb Sutton 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒓 At MSD and Dean Delaney 𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 at Platinum Recruitment, aim to create a service that empowers individuals to achieve independence by providing a supportive network, professional attire for interviews, and career development tools.

A Dunedin group has been created to help the struggling southern labour market. Employment Careers South was established by three employment specialists Habitat vocational consultant Megan McLay, Ministry of Social Development labour market adviser Deb Sutton and Platinum Recruitment director Dean Delaney. This group aims to bring career professionals together to develop and implement professional development, information sharing, coaching and events.

Platinum Recruitment has partnered with the Otago Polytechnic to host a free Job Seeker event to help those who suffered from job losses during Covid-19. Two one-hour walk-in sessions were hosted, providing employment advice from experts at Forsyth Bar Stadium.
